Dr. Maitreya Patil is a consultant spine surgeon who practices at VLSR The Clinic, Apollo Clinic, Criticare Hospital, Gurunanak Hospital and Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Maitreya Patil specialises in spine and orthopedic surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques. He has completed multiple fellowships in spine surgery from reputed institutes across India and abroad, where he gained extensive training and experience in treating complex spinal and craniovertebral junction surgeries, minimally invasive spine surgery and deformity correction surgeries.
Having strong academic background, with an MS in orthopaedics and MBBS from D.Y. Patil University School of Medicine, Navi Mumbai. He is passionate about learning and advancing his skills in this field, and having contributed to multiple international peer reviewed and textbook chapters. His goal is to provide the best possible care and outcomes for my patients, while also collaborating with his colleagues and peers to improve the standards and practices of spine surgery.
He takes the time to thoroughly explain the different options available to each patient and works closely with them to determine the best course of treatment for their individual needs.
